Carnival is coming\u2014lots of celebration and joy! But also, unfortunately, many cases of violence against women. General data reveals that, in 2023, over 250,000 cases of domestic violence were registered in Brazil. These alarming figures highlight a reality many women face daily.<\/p>\n
With this in mind, Djamila Ribeiro<\/strong>, president of Espa\u00e7o Feminismos Plurais<\/strong>, and Rosilene Pimentel<\/strong>, social worker and coordinator of Casa Ros\u00e2ngela Rigo<\/strong>, will host a special live session on how to identify signs of violence during Carnival, including channels for reporting incidents and protecting women.<\/p>\n Mark your calendar!
