Located in the Moema district of S\u00e3o Paulo, the institute offers free psychological, legal, and dental services, in addition to hosting cultural activities, conversation circles, and providing free access to a library and research room with internet.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1020\" data-end=\"1543\">One of the institute\u2019s standout initiatives is its collaboration with <em>Casa Ros\u00e2ngela Rigo (Ros\u00e2ngela Rigo Temporary Shelter)<\/em>, the city\u2019s first temporary shelter for women victims of violence. Since its founding, the institute has organized group therapy sessions for both the residents and the professionals working at the shelter. Among its educational materials is the booklet <em data-start=\"1364\" data-end=\"1425\">\u201cIs it love? A guide to confronting violence against women\u201d<\/em>, available for free at the institute\u2019s headquarters or via the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/djamilaribeiro1\/\">Linktree on the @feminismos.plurais Instagram profile<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1545\" data-end=\"1941\">The institute also invests in economic empowerment initiatives. Through the Johnnie Walker Fund, it has supported projects aimed at Black women entrepreneurs. In 2024, in partnership with the Formula 1 Grand Prix and Escola do Mec\u00e2nico, the institute selected and supported women in training courses in automotive mechanics, forklift operation, and bodywork \u2014 an initiative regarded as a success.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1943\" data-end=\"2156\">\u201cWe have been working intensively to build bridges and expand opportunities for women who have historically been left on the margins. The economy is also a space for struggle and transformation,\u201d says Djamila.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"2158\" data-end=\"2178\">New partnerships<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2180\" data-end=\"2429\">As part of the ongoing expansion of the institute\u2019s activities, Djamila welcomed Nelson Hervey, director of Sebrae S\u00e3o Paulo, this week. The meeting aimed to identify synergies and discuss potential collaborations focused on female entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2431\" data-end=\"2676\">\u201cIt is essential to engage with institutions committed to public policies aimed at historically marginalized groups.
