Djamila Ribeiro announces partnership to provide legal support for women in vulnerable situations

Djamila Ribeiro announced last Thursday (12) the launch of a partnership between Espaço Feminismos Plurais (Plural Feminisms Space) and the law firm Veirano Advogados to expand access to justice for women in situations of social vulnerability.

The initiative will offer voluntary legal assistance in fundamental areas of everyday life, such as inheritance, child custody, child support, divorce and separation, among other legal matters that directly affect women’s autonomy.

“Our goal is to expand the tools available so that women in vulnerable situations can access their rights and strengthen their autonomy,” says Djamila Ribeiro.

Launch event

The partnership will be presented to the public at an event on March 17 at Espaço Feminismos Plurais, featuring a conversation between Djamila Ribeiro (online) and lawyer Priscilla Villa Nova, partner at Veirano Advogados.
